June 17, 2015 – Reaching financial independence is a major milestone on the road to adulthood. Some experts say that’s becoming more difficult to achieve. The financial landscape has become increasingly harder to navigate. Many young people emerge into adulthood already in debt. They face more complex choices and have more responsibility for their financial futures than did past generations. Meanwhile, according to a recent survey, less than a quarter of young adults possess a solid grasp of basic financial concepts.
